Family Life
In Afghanistan, a family is the mother-in-law, the daughters-in-law and daughters, and an older women who is usually the grandmother. In a typical middle class home, the man leaves the house to go to work. The women are still expected to spend time with their family, but they do it at home instead of at work. Older family members have more respect than the rest of the people in the home.
